The Science

Controlled Damage. Calculated Results.

A chemical peel applies clinical-grade acids to the skin, creating a controlled injury that accelerates cell turnover. The damaged outer layer sheds over the following days, and the skin that replaces it is smoother, more evenly toned, and structurally healthier.
At Canvas & Glow AesthetIQ, we offer two medical-grade peel systems: the ReveSkin Peel Collection and the ZO Skin Health Stimulator Peel. Both deliver real, measurable results. Both are safe for all skin types and tones.
Our Treatments

ReveSkin Peel Collection

ReveSkin pairs an in-office peel with a complete pre- and post-care skincare regimen — treating the full cycle of skin renewal, not just the surface.

Light · ~3 Days

RevePeel Glow

A beginner-friendly option for mild dullness, rough texture, and first-time peel patients. Light flaking over about three days. Minimal downtime.

Medium · ~5 Days

RevePeel Fresh

A medium-strength peel for active acne, blemishes, and light to moderate skin damage. Visible peeling in sheets or flakes over about five days. Suitable for all skin types and tones.

Medium-Deep · 5–7 Days

RevePeel Classic

A true medium-depth peel with salicylic acid, lactic acid, TCA, and phenol. Addresses significant sun damage, deep texture, stubborn acne, and moderate hyperpigmentation.
Advanced Protocol

The Enlighten Peel: 28-Day Depigmentation

The gold standard for melasma, age spots, and stubborn hyperpigmentation across all skin tones.

The first application is done in-office, followed by a complete take-home kit including prescription-grade retinol, hydroquinone cream, soothing cleanser, calming balm, and tinted SPF. A second peel is performed in-office after 28 days. The system halts new melanin production, then accelerates cell turnover to shed existing pigmented skin.

Best for: Melasma · Age Spots · Sun Damage · Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation · Acne Scarring

Zero Downtime

ZO Skin Health Stimulator Peel

“The Red Carpet Peel.”

Developed by renowned dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi, the ZO Stimulator Peel takes about 30 minutes with zero downtime. You can wear makeup the same day.
Combines 10% lactic acid, 10% citric acid, and 10% glycolic acid with anti-irritant botanicals. Dissolves bonds between dead skin cells while simultaneously stimulating collagen and elastin production.
For optimal results, we recommend a series of four weekly treatments followed by maintenance every four to six weeks.

Best for: Dullness · Fine Lines · Mild Pigmentation · First-Time Patients · All Skin Types

What to Expect

Before

Your provider evaluates skin type, Fitzpatrick classification, and treatment history. ReveSkin treatments may require a two-week pre-care regimen. Advise your provider if you are currently on Accutane or active prescription retinoids.

During

The ZO Stimulator takes about 30 minutes with mild tingling. ReveSkin peels take 15–30 minutes depending on depth. We use a medical-grade cooling device to manage comfort during stronger formulations.

After

ZO Stimulator requires no downtime. RevePeel Glow involves light flaking for ~3 days. RevePeel Fresh produces more visible peeling over ~5 days. Use SPF 50+ diligently and avoid direct sun exposure during healing.
Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

That depends on your specific concern, skin type, and tolerance for downtime. The ZO Stimulator is ideal for maintenance with zero downtime. RevePeel Fresh is stronger and targets active acne and moderate damage. The Enlighten system is the most advanced option for stubborn pigmentation. Your provider will recommend the best fit during your consultation.

Yes. Both the ReveSkin and ZO Stimulator peels are formulated to be safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types when administered by a trained provider. The ReveSkin Enlighten system was specifically designed with diverse skin tones in mind.

For ZO Stimulator, we recommend four weekly sessions followed by monthly maintenance. For ReveSkin Enlighten, one to two complete 28-day cycles typically produce significant improvement. Your provider will outline a specific plan.

Yes. Chemical peels pair well with Hydrafacial, microneedling, and biostimulators when sequenced properly. Your provider will build a treatment calendar that spaces services appropriately to avoid over-treating the skin.

The ZO Stimulator produces mild tingling. ReveSkin peels can cause a stronger warming or stinging sensation during application that subsides quickly. We manage comfort with cooling and the formulation’s built-in anti-irritant ingredients.

Absolutely. Chemical peels are effective for all genders and are particularly popular among men dealing with razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and sun damage.

For the ZO Stimulator, you can apply makeup immediately. For ReveSkin peels, wait until active peeling has stopped — typically three to seven days depending on peel strength.

ReveSkin treatments include a complete post-care kit. For ZO Stimulator patients, continue with ZO Skin Health products and daily SPF 50+. Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, and harsh cleansers for at least a week after any peel.
